Box Placeholder Images of Upcoming Summer 2018 Lego Harry Potter Sets Leak

Nothing super exciting here, but some box sizes for the upcoming Summer 2018 Lego Harry Potter Sets have leaked and we thought it might be fun to speculate a little bit on scale and price.

Lego 75950 - Harry Potter: Aragog with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley

This set is obviously the smallest in the bunch, and we expect it to be at a $19.99 price point. The picture below is a similar set that was released in the early 2000s when Chamber of Secrets debuted in theatres. We expect this new set to be an updated version of this guy below with minifigures of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley alongside a brick-built Aragog (hopefully better looking than the one below). We can also expect some baby spiders and woodsy side builds.

Lego 75953 - Harry Potter: Flying Ford Anglia with the Whomping Willow

We're a little uncertain of the size of this set, but we think it will be between $50-$70. This will be a new scene in Lego form, but the set below, also released back in the early 2000s, is the closest indicator of what this might look like. We expect the iconic Blue Ford to look pretty similar, but hopefully updated with new parts and less boxy. We also expect Ron Weasley and Harry Potter as minifigs in the set with Hedwig. Hopefully there are some other characters thrown into the mix for such a large set.

Lego 75954 - Harry Potter: Hogwarts Great Hall

We are definitely most excited for this set. This will be the largest and most expensive set in the Summer 2018 wave of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts sets. We expect this to be at scale with other large Harry Potter sets like Diagon Alley and the various Hogwarts Castles. For that reason, we predict this set with cost between $120-$150. We can assume this set will include some franchise favorites in minifig form: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Dumbledore, Snape, and many others. I'm not too concerned about the lack of minifigs in the other two sets because it will surely be made up for with this set and the Harry Potter Collectible Minifigure Series that is rumored to be released in Summer 2018 as well.
